Program Manager - Catalogue Operations
Application takes ~2 minutes.
About the role
Kirana Club (a Meesho company) is building India's B2B kirana commerce platform. Catalogue sits at the centre of it — every seller who goes live, every new SKU, every combo passes through this function. If a retailer sees it on Kirana Club, this team puts it there. You will run that function: a contract catalogue team with a team lead, working off an internal listing tool. But running it is only half the job. Today a seller cannot go live without a human building their listings, and that dependency is the single biggest constraint on how fast we add supply. Your real mandate is to engineer it away. You will fix the problems that recur at scale, redesign how seller inputs reach us, and work alongside the Product Manager for self-serve cataloguing to turn ground-level operational reality into the right product. Part team lead, part process designer, part product partner. You will be measured on catalogue TAT, listing quality, and how much of this job no longer needs a human twelve months from now.
What you'll do
- Run day-to-day catalogue operations through a contract team — new seller onboarding, new SKU additions, combo creation, and edits. Own throughput, turnaround time, and accuracy.
- Own how listings look and read on the platform: attribute completeness, images, content, pricing accuracy, and correctness. Retailers buy what they can understand.
- Fix at the level of the system, not the ticket. When the same listing problem shows up across sellers, build the SOP, template, or validation that removes it permanently.
- Work the input side. Most catalogue pain is created before the file reaches your team — define the formats sellers submit in, guide them directly, and reduce the mess arriving upstream.
- Instrument the operation. Know where time actually goes, which categories and seller types are slowest, and what quality failures cost us — then quantify it.
- Be the business and ops counterpart to the Product Manager building self-serve cataloguing. Articulate what to build and why, grounded in operational data rather than opinion.
- Partner with Seller Management on what to list, delist, and prioritise, and with BD on getting new sellers live fast.
What we're looking for
- 2–4 years of experience, with strong academic and professional pedigree.
- Analytically sharp — you quantify a problem before proposing a fix, and you are comfortable finding the pattern in messy operational data.
- Process instinct: you see a recurring problem and build the mechanism, not the workaround.
- Can articulate a problem crisply. This role lives or dies on turning operational noise into a clear, prioritised problem statement a PM can build against.
- Able to hold a team accountable — including a partner team you do not directly employ.
- Demonstrated fast growth: early promotions, expanded ownership, or recognition beyond your level.
- Ambitious, and comfortable with the idea that success means your own team gets smaller.
