About the role
Kirana Club is hiring a zero-to-one problem-solving lead for Community & Discovery. This person works directly with the pod leader and founders to identify the highest-leverage problems across acquisition, retention, content supply, creator systems and commerce awareness, and converts ambiguous questions into working programs — diagnosing through user research and data, launching the first solution, building the initial operating model, and handing over scaled execution. In short: solves zero-to-one problems across Community growth, retention, creator systems and commerce discovery, converting ambiguous opportunities into tested programs and scalable operating models.
What you'll do
- Own a portfolio of ambiguous, high-priority problems across Community growth, M1 retention, engagement, regional information supply, creators and commerce discovery.
- Diagnose problems through user research and data, form clear hypotheses, launch zero-to-one solutions, and build the initial operating model before handing over scaled execution.
- Work across Product, Growth, Community Operations, Design and Data without being restricted to a single functional lane.
- Build business cases, experiment plans and operating mechanisms for new initiatives, and ensure learning translates into pod priorities.
- Support the pod lead with planning, reviews and cross-functional execution, while independently owning outcomes rather than functioning as a coordination-only chief of staff.
What we're looking for
- 6–9 years in consumer technology, marketplaces, social/content, commerce, or a strong strategy-and-operations role inside a product company.
- Has solved zero-to-one problems and launched new products, growth loops, operating programs or business lines.
- Strong structured thinking, user empathy and analytical ability; comfortable operating without a clearly defined playbook.
- Combines the problem-solving ability of a strong chief of staff with the execution ownership of an operator.
- Consumer-tech experience matters more than direct community experience.
